Are you looking for high quality professional music lessons that deliver results?
We are reimagining and redefining private music education in Australia and beyond.
We believe that every dream has a melody. And that those dreams deserve to flourish and take flight. And we know how to make that happen. Join us and let us fly your musical dream.
Picture the scene: a young person shows interest in music at a young age. Keen to support them, a carer arranges for them to have lessons with a teacher, which are usually conducted in the teacher’s home. Lessons are usually 30 minutes, and the teacher writes notes in an exercise book for the student to take home and practise. As the student progresses they may undertake an Exam once a year, which becomes their focal point of music learning.
Sound familiar?
That model is not relevant in the 21st Century world. We have applied current best practise models of teaching and learning, including direct explicit instruction, multisensory learning and cognitive load theory, along with digital technologies to completely reshape the music lesson experience. Our goal is to provide a superior music learning experience regardless of age, standard, instrument, style, location or ability. Our teachers have over 5000 hours of teaching experience and we have many successful students to show our methods work.
Some of our core strategies
How and why we are different
Technology
Digital Technologies can vastly improve student motivation, progress and results. We employ and use cutting edge Learning Management Systems to dramatically elevate the student’s musical experience. All student lessons are recorded for complete transparency and effective practise at home.
Automated. Digitalised. Personalised.
We are developing automated courses for self – paced individual learning on most instruments during 2025. These come with varying levels of assistance and support. We are producing programs and an app in the next 12 months. We do not neglect the foundational components of theory and music appreciation, unlike many providers and apps but present them in ways that are dynamic, relevant and interesting.
Online learning in music has understandably taken a bad rap. We are fixing it.
Our teachers have had over 600 teaching hours online during Covid lockdowns and beyond. We know that there are 2 main killers of effective online learning. Bad Internet/equipment/platforms and bad teaching methodologies and strategies. We know how to present and dynamic lesson experience online and produce results.
